Virginia Lee Perez is an attorney that assists clients with estate planning, probate, and trust administration throughout the state of Florida and is based out of Miami, FL. Ms. Perez is also a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator and FINRA Dispute Resolution Arbitrator.
Ms. Perez earned an LL.M. (legal masters) in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law and a Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law. She also earned a Certificate in International Commercial Arbitration Law and Practice from Hamline University in conjunction with Queen Mary, University of London. During law school Ms. Perez served as a Certified Legal Intern at FIU’s Children’s Immigration Clinic and Interned with Marriage Equality in Dublin, Ireland. In addition, Ms. Perez was on FIU’s International Arbitration Moot team and travelled to Vienna, Austria to compete in the Vis International Arbitration competition.
Ms. Perez is a Gator Alumni earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida with minors in Sociology and European Union Studies. As part of her coursework, Ms. Perez spent a summer studying the E.U. in Brussels, Belgium.
Ms. Perez is a proud member of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, RPPLT and Elder Law sections of the Florida Bar, and Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys (AFELA).
Ms. Perez strives in competition, professionally and personally. When Ms. Perez isn’t helping clients through her law practice, she trains and competes in Brazilian jiu jitsu and Rugby.
